As part of Still/Moving : Korean Video Art Based on Performances, artist Min Oh will present her practice and discuss her work in conversation with curator and writer Hannah Marynissen.

The exhibition brings together video works by Korean artists that explore performance through the body and everyday movement. Moving between the visible and the unseen, the works reflect on gestures, memories, care, labor and the social structures embedded in our everyday lives.

Min Oh (b. 1975) studied instrumental music at Seoul National University College of Music and design at Seoul National University College of Fine Arts, before receiving her MFA in Graphic Design from the Yale School of Art. Her work has been presented internationally in solo exhibitions at institutions including ENseoul, De Ateliers, Amsterdam Center for Contemporary Art, De Nederlandsche Bank Gallery, Ilmin Museum of Art, Atelier Hermès and DOOSAN Gallery. She was shortlisted for the Korea Artist Prize in 2021 and has received, among others, the Hermès Foundation Missulsang, the Excellence Prize of the 17th SONGEUN Art Award and the 6th DOOSAN Yonkang Arts Award.

Hannah Marynissen (b. 1996) is a Vienna-based curator and writer working across contemporary art, exhibition-making, research and publishing. Since 2022, she has been Assistant Curator at Kunsthalle Wien, where she has contributed to exhibitions by artists including Ibrahim Mahama, Diego Marcon and Magali Reus. Her independent curatorial and writing practice focuses on contemporary artistic practices and includes projects, essays and interviews in Austria and internationally. She holds an MA in Curating the Art Museum and a BA in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, London.
