K-Pop Random Play Dance

As an energetic opening to the stage programme, the Inspire Me Korea area turns into a dance floor for all K-Pop fans! Together with one of Europe’s biggest K-Pop cover groups, UNLXMITED, we are hosting a K-Pop Random Play Dance where everyone can join.

The rules are simple: for around 30 minutes random K-Pop songs will be played, and if you know the choreography – jump in and dance along! Whether you are a longtime K-Pop fan or just want to enjoy the atmosphere, bring your friends and come celebrate your favorite songs together with fans from across Europe.

This year’s line-up was created in collaboration with the CJ Cultural Foundation, bringing the sound of a new generation of Korean artists to Vienna under the title Next K-Pop. Blending indie, electronic, alternative and experimental influences, the featured artists showcase the diversity and evolving creativity of Korea’s contemporary music scene beyond mainstream K-Pop.

MRCH is a singer-songwriter who debuted in 2019 with her digital single Let’s march! 

Since then, she has captured listeners with her emotional songwriting and warm, expressive voice.

Drawing inspiration from small and often overlooked moments of everyday life, MRCH transforms personal feelings into honest and relatable music. Alongside her solo work, she has also participated in various OST projects and contributed songs for artists such as ITZY, TWICE and NMIXX, showcasing her versatility as both a songwriter and vocalist.

Moving freely across genres, MRCH’s music combines delicate emotions with refreshing vocals and an energetic stage presence – creating live performances that feel both intimate and unforgettable.

jisokuryClub is a Korean indie band that transforms every listening space into a landscape of blue mountains, open seas and late-night campfires. The moment their music begins, you feel transported somewhere else.

As pioneers of their self-defined genre “Fishing Pop / Camping Rock,” the band creates a sound that feels both refreshingly new and strangely familiar at the same time. Blending indie rock, dreamy melodies and playful experimentation, jisokuryClub has become one of the most exciting rising acts in Korea’s indie scene.

Following appearances at various festivals and competitions, the band continues to bring their unique atmosphere to audiences around the world – offering a side of Korean music that is emotional, immersive and impossible to place into just one genre.

HYPNOSIS THERAPY (힙노시스테라피)

Emerging from Seoul’s underground scene, HYPNOSIS THERAPY transforms rebellion into sound.

Formed in 2022 by producer Jflow and rapper JJANGYOU, the duo combines electronic music, breakbeats, techno, punk and experimental sounds into an intense and hypnotic live experience. Their music challenges conformity and explores the contradictions, frustrations and freedoms of modern society.

Known for their explosive performances and immersive stage presence, HYPNOSIS THERAPY has toured across Europe, Asia and Australia while steadily building an international following. Their artistic universe – symbolized by the mushroom featured throughout their work – represents growth in darkness, transformation and creative resistance.

With appearances at global festivals including Primavera Sound 2026, HYPNOSIS THERAPY continues to push the boundaries of Korea’s contemporary underground music scene.

KIRARA (키라라)

KIRARA is one of South Korea’s most distinctive electronic musicians, known for blending emotional melodies with energetic electronic soundscapes.

Since her debut in 2014, she has released numerous projects including five full-length studio albums, building a musical style inspired by 1990s British dance music and 2000s Japanese electronic music. Her sound moves between melancholic, euphoric and cinematic moments – creating live performances that are both emotionally powerful and made for the dance floor.

Performing more than 30 live sets each year using self-produced electronic compositions, KIRARA has appeared at major festivals and events including SXSW, Primavera Pro, Ultra Korea and the Venice Biennale. By 2026, she has received ten nominations across seven different years at the Korean Music Awards, winning twice and establishing herself as one of the leading names in Korea’s electronic music scene.
