Job Offer: Executive Assistant to the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea (Full-time)

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vienna is looking for a self-motivated and responsible person,
eager to acquire experience in a professional environment, to work in the Embassy as Executive Assistant
to the Ambassador to commence from January 2024.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Managing the Ambassador’s calendar with supervision, proactively arranging meetings and appointments,
and making travel arrangements
• Managing embassy contacts, maintaining a contacts database
and a log of engagement to prioritize embassy engagements, and confidently engaging very senior interlocutors
• Managing documentation and informing the Ambassador of matters requiring attention
• Managing accreditation of the Ambassador and other diplomats
• Drafting correspondence for the Ambassador and other diplomats as required
• Supporting the organization of Embassy events

Qualifications
• University degree (at least BA), preferably in either Administration/Business/Foreign Languages/
International Relations/etc. Previous experience on a similar or related position,
including managing a complex calendar, is a plus.
• Proficiency in both German and English, oral and written
• Ability to develop and maintain contacts in both the public and private sectors, including at very senior levels,
and an ability to engage/influence effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels
• Strong organizational skills and ability to undertake projects and
administrative duties using computer-based systems such as the Microsoft Office suite
• Self-management in planning and prioritizing daily tasks;
ability to efficiently work on multiple assignments at once and to take responsibility for outcomes
• Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly and easily to sudden changes
Benefits
• The basic salary with an annual bonus of 200% of the monthly salary is to be determined,
taking into account the predecessor’s years of service, basic salary, etc.
as well as the skills and experience of the applicant.
