The National Hangeul Museum has launched the 2025 “Hangeul in My Life” Photo & Video Contest, inviting participants from around the world to showcase how they encounter Hangeul, the Korean alphabet, in their daily lives. The contest aims to highlight the beauty and cultural significance of Hangeul through creative visual storytelling in both photos and videos.

🔹 Eligibility: Open to everyone around the world who is interested in Hangeul (regardless of nationality or residence)

🔹 Theme: "Hangeul in daily life" – e.g., Hangeul seen in signs, products, architecture, or artworks

🔹 Categories: Photography / Video (including short-form videos under 3 minutes)

🔹 Submission Period: June 4 (Wed) – July 31 (Thu), 2025 (KST)

🔹 Awards: 30 winners (20 in photography, 10 in video), total prize value approx. KRW 12 million

  ※ For overseas winners, equivalent prizes (e.g., Amazon gift cards) will be provided
